1983

Introduced

Our Humble Beginnings

Our journey in textile industry started in 1983. But back in that time, the company was known as Silpair Textile Mills (ltd.). The primary product was shirting fabric (yarn dyed TC, 100% Polyester, TR, etc.) which was solely aimed for the domestic market. The weaving looms were all Shuttle looms. Number of looms were 90.

Skills and Focus

Eventually as we developed our skills, we shifted our focus to the more challenging and dynamic global market, i.e. export business. In 2004, we imported 36 set of Ishikawa 1001 Rapier looms (190 cm) and thus began our production of 100% Cotton woven fabric. Currently we have 90 sets of rapier looms (Ishikawa, Somet and Vamatex). The monthly prodution is approximately 300,000 Yds all of which is supplied to various garment manufacturers and exporters.

Throughout this journey

we have been successful in keeping consistant growth in the company’s turnover through effectiveness, efficiency and diversification. For instance, the annual turnover of the company in last 10 years have been improved from USD 2 million to USD 8 million in a gradual pattern.

Product Range

Currently, we specialize in 100% cotton fabrics, with yarn counts ranging from 7 to 60. We customize fabric constructions according to buyer requirements, adjusting warp and weft counts as needed.
